Maple End Table with Cored Out Belly.

The idea speaks for itself, a hand-carved maple stump with a granite top. Middle will be large enough to house a plant, or simply look cool empty. Not sure whether a circle or square top would make more sense. Stain/finish and granite color to be determined as well. Considering speckled beige/white granite.

10/7/23: Plan is to core the middle using an angle grinder with a very coarse Kutzall carving bit.
